Bob has a degree in Chemical
Engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology with a graduate
Business degree from the University of Chicago. He is a former air force pilot and has been active in a variety of volunteer programs including the Red Cross,
Amnesty International and the interviewing of student candidates for
the University of Chicago. He has served as Treasurer for the
University of Chicago Bay Area Alumni Group and the IBM San Jose
Retirement Club. Bob is an IBM retiree with experience in market
planning, computer modeling, and financial system programming. He
currently acts as an investment advisor for clients and in 2003, with
his wife, Adele, has founded a Boydston Family Foundation which gives
grants to educational, artistic, and environmental organizations. He
is active in community affairs having served as President, Treasurer
and web site editor for the Almaden Valley Community Association of San
Jose, California.
